What is 5G?

The statement that 5G was developed with the iot devices in mind means the following. The development of previous cellular technologies was based on the assumption that they were mainly used with battery-operated cell phones that were charged once a day.

Waiting for 5G technology could mean holding out for a long time. And there are other solutions currently available that can solve most of the IoT problems.

Whether this technology is right for you depends entirely on the requirements of your application scenario, such as location, bandwidth, and security. Current cellular technology may better serve your needs if you settle for larger batteries first, or if you accept a combination of technologies.

IPv6 for the 5g iot
